Our Services

INDUCTIONS | VAGINAL BIRTHS | C-SECTION BIRTHS | VBACs

We understand how scary it is to give birth. Our goal is to prepare you for labor and delivery, so you know exactly what to expect during your birth journey.

Your journey begins with a personalized session where your Doula learns about your pregnancy, your concerns, and your vision for birth—then helps you create a plan for a calm, confident experience. You’ll then move through a structured series of six guided sessions, each building on the last and tailored to your unique needs, including any high-risk conditions. A dedicated session prepares your birth partner to support you through every stage of labor. If you don’t have one, your Doula can step into that role.

Sessions are held via telehealth, with optional in-office visits available in Walnut Creek upon request. By the end, you’ll feel prepared, confident, and ready to approach birth with clarity and calm.

When it’s time to give birth, you won’t face it alone. If you deliver at one of our partner hospitals in Contra Costa County or nearby Kaiser Permanente facilities, your Doula will be physically by your side—providing steady, expert support when it matters most.

In the intensity of labor, decisions can feel overwhelming. Your Doula serves as your advocate and guide—offering continuous emotional, physical, and evidence-based support, while working alongside your clinical team to help ensure your preferences are honored. What sets this experience apart is our advanced training in high-risk pregnancies and complex birth experiences. If your birth takes an unexpected turn, you won’t just have support—you’ll have doula who understands what’s happening in real time, can help you process your options, and keep you grounded through it all.

You’re supported by a highly skilled Doula —a Public Health Doctor and Certified Doula —who is background-checked, medically cleared, and trusted to be present in clinical settings.

We verify your insurance, check your doula benefits, and bill your health plan so you can just focus on your health.

The moments immediately after birth are critical—and you deserve expert support to make the most of them.

While your clinical team monitors your recovery, your Doula remains by your side—protecting and maximizing your golden hour, a powerful window for bonding, stabilization, and early recovery. We support uninterrupted skin-to-skin contact, guide early breastfeeding, and help ensure your newborn’s first procedures align with your birth preferences. If your birth includes a cesarean, support continues in recovery to help create a calm, connected golden hour experience. We also capture these first moments on your personal device and, if desired, assist with placenta handling using your encapsulation kit.

This dedicated support—lasting up to 3 hours—helps you begin your postpartum journey feeling supported, connected, and confident from the very start.

The first days after birth are meant for rest, healing, and bonding—not figuring everything out on your own.

We recommend a dedicated recovery period during the first two weeks, where your Doula provides hands-on support with breastfeeding, newborn care, and early recovery—so you can focus on healing and connecting with your baby. This level of support is especially valuable for first-time parents, single parents, and cesarean recoveries—but truly benefits anyone who wants a calmer, more supported transition into parenthood.

If you’d like to continue this level of care, simply let your Doula know—so we can be there when you need it most.
